OUR MISSION

To enhance and grow the game of golf by developing knowledgeable, professional caddies who create exceptional experiences for every golfer while serving our partner courses and local communities with integrity, professionalism, and excellence.

YOUR PATH TO CERTIFICATION

STEP 1

Complete Academy Training

Work through each lesson at your own pace. Every module is designed to build your golf knowledge, professionalism, confidence, and customer service skills. Complete each lesson in order before advancing to the next phase of certification.

STEP 2

Final Written Examination

After successfully completing all Academy modules, you will take a comprehensive written examination covering golf etiquette, pace of play, golf knowledge, safety, customer service, and professionalism. A passing score is required before moving forward.

STEP 3

Background Screening

Every Get Caddie applicant must successfully complete a background screening. This helps ensure a safe, professional, and trusted experience for golfers, golf courses, and fellow caddies.

STEP 4

Practical Evaluation

After passing the written examination and completing your background screening, you will schedule an on-course practical evaluation with a Get Caddie trainer. During this evaluation, you will demonstrate your positioning, golfer interaction, communication, professionalism, pace of play, and overall readiness to serve golfers.

STEP 5

Final Certification Review

Once all certification requirements have been completed, the Get Caddie team will review your Academy progress, written examination, background screening, and practical evaluation. Upon approval, you will officially become a Get Caddie Certified Caddie.

STEP 6

Begin Accepting Loops

Congratulations! After certification, you’ll gain access to the Get Caddie platform where you can accept loop requests, build your reputation, earn ratings, receive tips, and create exceptional experiences for every golfer you serve.
